Parking and Transportation
Cornell-provided Transportation Service
Because classes will be in session during the inauguration, parking spaces on campus will be extremely limited. As a convenience for campus guests, Cornell University will provide free transportation service between the Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport and Ithaca-area lodging facilities, and between Ithaca-area lodging facilities and the Cornell campus.
If you are a visitor to Ithaca and will have a vehicle with you, we strongly recommend that you leave it at your lodging facility and take advantage of the free transportation provided. If you are flying into Ithaca, we urge you to use the Cornell shuttle service between the airport and your lodging facility rather than rent a vehicle.
You may arrange for transportation by calling the Inauguration Transportation Hot Line at 607-254-8293. This service will be available during the following hours:

Parking on Campus
Free parking is available in B lot (south of the College of Veterinary Medicine complex, off Route 366) for visitors attending the inauguration. Guests with a special parking permit will be able to park in a designated reserved area of the Crescent lot, behind Schoellkopf Stadium.
B Lot—Central Campus Inauguration Shuttle
A free shuttle bus will run from B lot to Tower Road, to East Avenue, to Campus Road, and back to B lot, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 midnight on Thursday, September 7.

Ithaca Hotel Shuttles
There will be two continuous shuttles on Thursday, September 7, making stops at several area hotels.
Downtown Hotel Shuttle
The Downtown Hotel shuttle will run from 10:00 AM to 2:40 PM and from 5:00 PM to 12:25 AM.

Regular Campus Bus Service
Cornell’s regular campus bus service will be available at no charge. Simply indicate to the bus driver that you are attending the inauguration. Schedules are widely available on campus and on each bus.
